Create Workspace

Local Workspace File

The essential steps to create a workspace are:

• In the main window, click New Workspace.

• Create models, diagrams and data dictionaries.

• Choose File -> Save.

• Enter the file name and choose the save path.

• Click Save.

Cloud Workspace File

If you have logged into Navicat Cloud / On-Prem Server, you can store the workspace in a project.

The essential steps to create a workspace are:

• In the main window, click New Workspace.

• Create models, diagrams and data dictionaries.

• Choose File -> Save to Cloud.

• Enter the workspace name and choose the project.

• Click Save.
